If you want to save some storage space and you’re satisfied with the final result, you can go to the menu Layer, Flatten Image. If you want to save your composite with the separate layers in a way that it remains editable, I suggest you save it as a PSD file. This will create a more realistic effect. If you’re doing a reflection like mine, you can use a Layer Mask to apply a Gradient. That’s it, you can continue editing your composite. You’ll now have a mirror image that can be used as a reflection. Otherwise, you can right-click inside the rectangle and choose Flip Vertical (or Flip Horizontal). You can click and drag those handles if you want to do the flip manually. You’ll see that the layer gets a rectangle around it with handles. This will activate the Free Transform command. Then go to the menu Edit, Transform, Flip Vertical (or Flip Horizontal according to what you’re looking for).Īlternatively, you can use the Photoshop keyboard shortcut by pressing Cmd + T.
